“This is going to be a world-class concert hall for the 21st century and it’s something Bristol will be able to be incredibly proud of.”

Darren Henley, Chief Executive Arts Council England

In August 2015 Colston Hall launched a campaign asking for 45,000 people to show their support for our £45 Million campaign to transform the hall into one of the best arts and learning facilities in the country.

We’re delighted by the support our audiences and the people of Bristol have shown towards our transformation project and, as of 4th September 2017, we now have over 20,500 pledges of support.

These signatures and the strong display of community support have been hugely influential in us gaining local council and national Government support as well us funding from private donors and other funding organisations.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to the 20,500+ members of the public that have backed the campaign.
