In June 2018 we began our £48.8 million transformation project to build a world class concert venue for Bristol.
Colston Hall turned 150 years old in 2017 and, quite frankly, it looks its age, having had no major refurbishment in the last sixty years. So we are doing something about it and aim to turn our iconic building into something that we can all be proud of by 2020. For more information on the redevelopment see our Transformation pages.
To achieve our ambitious plans, Colston Hall and sister venue The Lantern are now closed from June 2018, reopening in 2020. During this time, Bristol Music Trust and Colston Hall are presenting an exciting programme of events in partner venues around the city. To keep up to date with our off-site programme please see Colston Hall Presents.
Your membership benefits will still be available to you during this period, including priority booking for our programme (T&Cs apply*), and discounts from our bars and from other partners.
Please be aware, by purchasing a membership from May 2017, you acknowledge that Colston Hall and The Lantern venues will be closed for at least a portion of the duration of your membership. Membership is non-refundable, unfortunately we are unable to offer pro-rota refunds.
