Canadian gothic folk trio Timber Timbre have a style that is constantly evolving and impossible to categorise. Following on from the JUNO-nominated album ‘Hot Dreams’, their latest release ‘Sincerely, Future Pollution’ is inspired by American political turmoil – “an agitated document for surreal times” (NPR). Dark, dystopian and cinematic, the band’s new sound features ‘80s-inspired synths and brooding lyrics. Delivering pitch-black, moody music that “sounds like it’s made by kindly ghouls” (Paste) the band remain “startlingly original…there is no doubting the cool confidence that oozes out of Timber Timbre” (Drowned in Sound).
