The Space Lady

The Space Lady, aka Susan Dietrich Schneider, began busking on the streets of Boston and San Francisco in the 1970s with just a Casio keyboard, a microphone and her messages of love and pacifism.

Her ethereal, echo-laden arrangements have won her a new generation of starry-eyed admirers who have fallen in love with her “heart-warming, eccentric, and unselfconscious” synthesised pop (Dazed). With over 30 years of performing she has created an art that has “transcended genre, style and fashion, opening up hearts and minds along the way” (The Quietus). Her performance in our foyer is sure to be a mesmerising synthesised exploration of contemporary pop.

“Bathed in echo and a warm blanket of hiss, Suzy Soundz’ voice is utterly without guile on her Casio covers and Outsider Art explorations” (The Guardian)

Suitable for all ages, under 16’s to be accompanied by an adult.
