A one day training session for music leaders delivered by the National Centre of Inclusive Excellence, part of The Inclusive Practitioner CME course.

This session is relevant for music practitioners looking to develop their skills including: community settings, schools, music hubs, workshop leaders and music professionals who are looking to expand or undertake music education work.

Session Content

This session will explore how young people’s musical identities are shaped and the contexts that they experience music within formal and non-formal settings. It will include an introduction to how young people can use music as a form of self-expression both practically and theoretically.

The Inclusive Practitioner CME Course

This one day course is part of the NCIE ‘The Inclusive Practitioner for Music Educators’ level 4 qualification which is accredited by Trinity College, London.
