Colston Hall presents its third year of Terrace Sessions, and this year its a series of four parties featuring the cream of Bristol’s party-organisers, all taking place on our sun-drenched terrace looking out over the city.
Each session starts straight after work at 6pm for the Friday dates or an hour earlier at 5pm for the Saturday date. So head on over, crack open a beer and soak up some summer rays.
Terrace Session #1: Falling Up

Bristol heroes Jay L & Andy Mac make up 2/3 of Falling Up (the other being Typesun). Between the two residents, the pair have releases on Idle Hands, Punch Drunk, brstl & The Trilogy Tapes and together they’ll provide an assortment of House related sounds from the present and the past. They’re joined by special guest Fudge Fingas of Firewood Recordings (Edinburgh), who is certain to bring the good vibes.

PBR Streetgang have just shared a premier off their new EP ‘In the Turret’ released on Ship To Shore, a new record label from esteemed record collector and gentleman of the night Craig Richards. Marquis Hawkes also makes an appearance following his 2016 debut LP on Houndstooth that joins a back catalogue of releases on Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, AUS Music & Clone. The final addition to the line-up is Futureboogie/Team Love bossman, Dave Harvey who in addition to The We Like to Party DJs, will be providing the warm up with funky, soul, house and disco grooves.
Terrace Session #3: Musu

With previous bookings including the likes of Jane Fitz, Medlar, Dan Beaumont & Peggy Gou, the Musu lads know a thing or two about a good booking. This time, they’ve got in Henry Wu, who’s music has recieved support from the likes of Lefto, Gilles Peterson & Motor City Drum Ensemble, as well as Freerotation Festival resident & UntilMyHeartStops owner Leif. Supporting said headliners will be Crump, fresh from the back of his release on Banoffee Pies, and the Musu residents.
