Taking place at Arnolfini, Tarab cuts is a new concert-length work by John Butcher working with drummer Mark Sanders, combining composition and improvisation layered over 78rpm recordings of traditional Sufi music.

This performance is a world premiere, produced by Out Of The Machine, commissioned by Bristol New Music and supported by the PRS for Music Foundation.
