Swing Dance Bristol and Bristol Community Big Band have teamed up to celebrate the final night of the Festival.

Always wanted to learn to Swing Dance? There will be a taster class from 19:30 – 20:00 as well as expert dancers from Swing Dance Bristol on hand throughout the night.

The Bristol Community Big Band is a big, loud and energetic local ensemble of talented amateur jazz musicians, who’ve been playing together since 2013. Band leader and local trumpet legend Jonny Bruce injects the band with huge energy, passion and love for the ‘big band sound’.

They bring to live a delightful repertoire of classic swing, jazz and Latin big band numbers, from Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman, to Count Basie and Dizzy Gillespie.

This is a Bristol International Jazz and Blues Festival show at Colston Hall.
