To mark these 20 years of successful work and to celebrate this achievement, the charity will be holding a one day event on Tuesday 30 September 2014 at the Colston Hall in the heart of Bristol and we welcome people to join us there.
The theme of the day will be the exploration of the wider societal impacts of providing specialist counselling services and support programmes for the victims and survivors of abuse and trauma.
Our hope is that the voice and the plight of those who have experienced and continue to experience trauma and abuse will be heard and to help us do this, we are very proud to say that the keynote will be delivered by Ian McFadyen a survivor of the Caldicott Preparatory School abuse scandal. Ian was instrumental in bringing his abuser to justice and has become a vocal advocate for survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
The event will kick off with a Zumbathon® charity event; with mime, song, thespian talent and skills of the highest theatrical order to close the day!
Entrance to the celebration event is free, however donations are welcome. Registration details and the full programme is available on Eventbrite.
