Martin Carthy & Dave Swarbrick

This “legendary duo” (Folk Radio) shook up the British folk scene when they first joined forces in the mid-1960s. They parted ways in 1969 – Dave joining Fairport Convention and Martin carving a niche as “arguably the greatest English folk song performer, writer, collector and editor of them all” (Q Magazine) – but now the “elder statesmen” (The Journal) of the scene are together again to perform a new collection of traditional songs and instrumentals. “Intense and demanding, this is hardcore traditional music” (The Telegraph).
