Marie Davidson + Not Waving

Springing from the cultural epicentre of Montreal, Marie Davidson is a spoken-word poet and electro musician who is also one half of the duo Essaie Pas. Lately, Davidson has emerged as one of the foremost electronic artists in pop, combining “gothic ambient music, poetic repetitions, and analog synthpop” (Pitchfork) to amazing effect. Dark and beautiful, her latest album takes a sideways look at club culture through poetry and driving beats.

Plus support from Not Waving + Scalping

“Bass loud enough to flip eardrums like pennies…[an album of] tormented techno subverted by humour.”
