Malcolm Middleton

“Scotland’s great mordant romantic” (The Arts Desk) Malcolm Middleton returns to his songwriting roots with his latest release ‘Bananas’.  A founder member of Scottish indie titans Arab Strap, he has worked with everyone from Miaoux Miaoux and King Creosote to David Shrigley.

Although never afraid to play with style and influences, his music is always shot through brutal honesty and deadpan, Scottish humour which is “occasionally odd … and frequently lovely” (NME). Fans of Middleton’s classic sound won’t be disappointed as he brings his new work to The Exchange ready to mine “nuggets of beauty from the dark rock walls of despair” (NME).

“An enduring talent in British music” (Line of Best Fit)

Plus support from Lonely Tourist and John Mouse
