Lisa O’Neill

Colston Hall Presents at Folk House

Creating “uncompromising, stunning, soul-shaking stuff” (The Guardian’s Folk Album of the Year), Lisa O’Neill follows her acclaimed album ‘Heard a Long Gone Song’ with a new EP, ‘The Wren, The Wren’ released on Rough Trade’s traditional music imprint River Lea.

Touring with the likes of Calexico and Iron & Wine, O’Neill has amassed a reputation for earnest live performances steeped in myth, folklore and tradition. Her songs, inspired by nature, old ways and familial connections, have been described “as beautiful as it gets” (The Irish Times) and “magnificent… about as far from safe as it’s possible to get. A special talent indeed” (Hot Press).

Ages 14+ (Under 16’s to be accompanied by an adult)

This is a unallocated seated Colston Hall Presents show at The Folk House, 40a Park St, Bristol BS1 5JG
