Constantly shape-shifting and “wildly unpredictable” (Pitchfork), Liars refuse to be categorised. After moving from LA to the Australian bush as a newly evolved solo project, Liars have continued to experiment with their sound – from stripped-down rock to pulsing electronic – upholding a “dedication to unsettling, disorientating anarchy” (NME). Praised as “strikingly atmospheric and evocative” (The Line of Best Fit), their most recent release TFCF (2017) confronts uncomfortable themes of isolation and loss through frontman Angus Andrew’s mosaic-like songwriting, densely layered with field recordings from the bush.

Support from Happy Meals, an acclaimed Scottish duo who produce sultry synthpop with ice cold grooves.
