Inner Vision Orchestra

Inner Vision Orchestra is the UK’s only blind ensemble whose performances “leave the auditorium spellbound and humbled” (Songlines). Led by Indian maestro Baluji Shrivastav, “one of the music world’s most in-demand sitar players” (BBC) who has performed with Stevie Wonder, Massive Attack, Annie Lennox and many others, the orchestra’s blind or partially sighted musicians blend a variety of musical styles including traditional Middle Eastern songs, gospel, blues, Indian ragas and classical compositions. The ensemble will perform at Fast Forward as part of their nationwide tour and is being filmed for the forthcoming documentary Inner Vision, which explores the stories of this unique group of musicians.
