Theatrical tours of Colston Hall

If only the walls of Colston Hall could talk… well now they will, as the famous faces and ordinary people who have made up the venue’s 150-year history come to life in this special series of interactive theatrical tours around Bristol’s historic concert hall.

Colston Hall has had many colourful characters pass through its doors over the past 150 years. You know about The Beatles, Bowie and Bob Dylan, but what about the suffragettes, the roadies, and… the wrestlers?

Time-travel back through the years to meet these personalities and hear their extraordinary stories on these whistle-stop tours around backstage corridors, star dressing rooms and the historic underbelly of the venue. Find out what’s lurking in the catacombs of the creepy cellars, and tread the boards of the main stage, walking in the footsteps of some of the most iconic artists of the last century and a half.

This limited run of interactive tours has been specially commissioned as part of Colston Hall’s 150th anniversary celebrations. Experience the hall as never before, discover surprises around every corner, and take your last chance to explore the backstage areas of the hall before it closes its doors for its transformation in 2018.

Tours last 50 mins approx.

Recommended for ages 8+, tours feature loud noises and some content might be frightening for some very young children.
