Free Foyer Performance – Slimline Shufflers

  • Venue:

  • Time:

  • Date:

The Slimline Shufflers play a New Orleans style of piano-led rhythm’n’blues pioneered by such luminaries as Professor Longhair, James Booker & Dr. John.

Eric Arthur, one of Bristol’s most stylish exponent of this piano style, lays down the distinctive base for those Big Easy grooves and he’s joined by the classic bar-room sound of Henry Slim’s amplified harmonica & baritone vocals to the mix. They are complimented by the infectious and dance-friendly swing of drummer Jai Widdowson-Jones for a set of well-loved blues and jazz numbers.
