Family Day: Hall Explorers!

Join workshop leaders and musicians for an interactive musical journey into the treasures, characters and legends of Colston Hall’s 150 year history. Meet wrestlers, suffragettes, pop stars and rock stars as we uncover the hidden stories of the hall, create new music and song, join together to sing rousing repertoire and perform together at the end of the day in an informal concert for friends and family.

Led by workshop leaders Hannah Opstad and Tara Baggott, you’ll be taking inspiration from the brave suffragettes and making up your own protest song; create your own personal wrestling character, and come up with your own instrumental ‘fight’ anthem, and get your dancing shoes on for some swing dance and song. Plus, with arts and crafts activities and lots of family friendly games, there’ll be plenty of fun for the whole family to get involved in.

No musical experience necessary.
