Christmas with The Salvation Army 2018

At St Mary Redcliffe Church

Join us for a celebration of carols, readings and Christmas music with musicians from The Salvation Army in Bristol Easton. The inimitable David Garmston, presenter of BBC Points West, will once again be guiding us through the evening, along with contributions from ITV’s Jonty Messer and BBC Radio Bristol’s Lucy Tegg.

Guest soloist operatic baritone Nicholas Lester trained in his native Australia and then at the National Opera Studio, London. He was voted ‘best male in a leading role’ for his performance as Figaro in Rossini’s The barber of Seville and has sung numerous other leading operatic roles. Nicholas will add a sparkle to your Christmas celebrations with both festive classics and audience favourites.

Our annual spectacular will be held once again in the beautiful and historic surroundings of St Mary Redcliffe, described by Queen Elizabeth I as the ‘fairest, goodliest and most famous parish church in England.’ All proceeds will be used to further The Salvation Army’s social work in the city.

Don’t miss this perfect opportunity to kick-start your festive season and celebrate Christmas with The Salvation Army!

Taking place at St Mary Redcliffe Church, 12 Colston Parade, Redcliffe, Bristol BS1 6RA
