Christmas at Colston Hall

Your Christmas entertainment all wrapped up…

It’s time to get into the festive spirit! Introduce little ones to the magic of Christmas and the power of the orchestra as old friends Paddington & The Snowman come to town. For the romantics, what could be more christmassy than watching Love Actually on a big screen – with a live orchestra? If hearing classic carols puts the tingle in your tinsel, you can choose to be transported by much-loved quintet The Overtones, the bold brass of the Royal Marines Band, and the heavenly vocals of the Bristol Cathedral Choir School… And when it’s all over, blast into the new year with our Funk Yeah! NYE Party featuring Craig Charles, Soultrain, The Correspondents and much more.

Looking for the perfect present? We’ve got just the ticket!

We reckon there’s no gift more thoughtful than sharing a live show with a loved one, so we’ve got a few ideas up our sleeves to help you pick the perfect present. Order your tickets today so they’ll be delivered to your door in time for Christmas and you’ll earn maximum brownie points for knowing what lights up their Christmas tree. Make sure you order before Sunday 16 Dec to get them in time!

For those on the cutting edge…

Unlock a new adventure for the gamer in your life as critically acclaimed immersive game Dear Esther comes to Colston Hall for a live play-through, accompanied by an orchestra playing Jessica Curry’s haunting score.

For the classical fan…

Violinist Joshua Bell delivers Vivaldi’s vibrant Four Seasons with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, along with a brand new work from Edgar Meyer.

For the thrill-seeker…

Experience every tense minute of classic flick Jaws at our orchestral screening (especially that bone-chilling theme tune!).

For the bedroom producer…

Our 10-week Producer Uncovered courses are ideal for equipping your family’s budding beatmaker with professional skills.

For the indie head…

Delve into our Lantern listings where you can find joyful indie magpies Field Music alongside Nick Hakim‘s sultry psychedelic soul, and much more.

For the class clown…

Get your belly laughs in with raucous stand up comedy from Carl Hutchinson, Stewart Lee and Ed Byrne.
