Chris Wood

Colston Hall Presents at The Folk House

Self-taught musician and six-time BBC Folk Award winner Chris Wood is a storyteller like no other. Weaving together potent images of broken Hoovers, climate change and cook-in sauce, Chris’ compelling lyrics tell modern-day parables for today’s England. Described as “a musical documentarian” (Irish Times) and “the Ken Loach of songwriting” (fRoots Magazine), Chris’ understated guitar and gently mournful voice are “steeped in tradition, yet always striving for a new day” (Acoustic Magazine).

This is a seated Colston Hall Presents show at The Folk house, 40a Park St, Bristol BS1 5JG
