Art 4 Our Sake is a 2-day conference examining the role of arts, particularly music, and so called ‘soft subjects’ in relation to our mental health.
We will be looking at bullying and its increasing profile in all walks of life and how we can better combat it.
Through a series of panels, discussion groups and workshops we will explore and inform. We have contributors from the world of music, arts and mental health sharing their experiences and their knowledge.
The conference is made up of a symposium at Colston Hall on Sat 5 Oct with panels, taster sessions and workshops and includes live acoustic performances in the foyer. This is followed by a series of workshops and activities at Barton Hill Settlement on Sun 6 Oct covering a wide range of arts and mental health projects.
