Envision a mix between Radio 1’s Live Lounge Sessions and the sophistication and musical variety of a “Live with Jools Holland” experience – then grow it to that of a full-scale 1800 capacity concert.
Central to Adhesive Live is the theme of togetherness and unity. The buoyancy of bass music has pushed Bristol-based artists to an international plateau only matched by the likes of Massive Attack and Portishead. The ‘Bristol sound’ has evolved from the city’s culturally diverse tapestry, merging everything from dub to jungle, bass to breaks. Adhesive Live seeks to unite this diversity with the epic grandiosity that only a classical orchestra can bring. Diverse musicality meets dance-driven rhythms culminating in a truly unique production – an amalgam of ages and styles, present in a vibrant city’s ever-changing musical landscape. Adhesive Live is a truly audio/visual extravaganza as along side performers their will also be live 3D animated visuals and video projections.
