MP Charlotte Leslie visits Colston Hall to discover more about the Transformation Campaign

Yesterday (25 September), Bristol North West MP Charlotte Leslie visited Colston Hall to hear about the transformation campaign and the impact it will have on education, entertainment and enterprise in the South West.

Ms Leslie enjoyed a tour of the building with our Chief Executive Louise Mitchell, Head of Bristol Plays Music Phil Castang and Nick Craney, our General Manager.
During the tour Phil explained how new education facilities and the work of Bristol Plays Music, the city’s music education programme, will bring innumerable benefits to all young people across Bristol, including those with special educational needs.

Charlotte Leslie MP said:

Colston Hall is important to Bristol and the South West and it is imperative that the Hall is redeveloped. The Thank you for the Music campaign would make this hall one of the top venues in Europe and help Bristol retain its place as an international creative hub. The Hall offers fantastic performances but also does valuable work with the local community through its many projects.
