Bristol Plays Music Junior Chamber Choir perform in front of a stellar cast of food heroes.

The 14th BBC Food & Farming Awards took place in Bristol on May 1st 2014 and we’re incredibly proud of the Bristol Schools Junior Chamber Choir, made up of 30 singers from about 20 different schools from across Bristol, as they performed an original composition by David Ogden, Head of the Choral Centre, and lyricist Anna Farthing, ‘Stand up for Good Food’ live at the awards at St Georges.

The young people sang in front of a 500 strong invited audience which included Jamie Oliver, Mary Berry, Raymond Blanc and the Director General of the BBC.  The choir which is managed by Bristol Plays Music was recorded for broadcast on Radio 4 Food Programme on Sunday 4th May.
