As we continue to adjust to life in lockdown, it’s music that keeps us connected and fills our days with snippets of joy. Here is our selection of recommendations for your week. Stay safe.

One World Together at Home

Anti-poverty movement Global Citizen has teamed up with the World Health Organisation for a live-streamed concert to benefit frontline healthcare workers. The line-up has been curated by pop superstar Lady Gaga and  includes Elton John, Paul McCartney, Lizzo, Michael Bublé, Sheryl Crow, The Killers, Christine and the Queens plus loads more.

The event will be broadcast live on the internet at 1am on Sunday 19 April, but BBC One will be replaying highlights between 7pm and 9pm.

This looks set to be a global event with music at the heart of it, and with a line-up of stars it’s not one to miss.
