Bath Ales launches specially brewed ale for Colston Hall 150th anniversary
Bath Ales, the award-winning regional brewers, has collaborated with Colston Hall to launch a bottled ale to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Bristol’s biggest music venue.
Well known for its flagship ale Gem, Bath Ales has a rich and diverse range of quality beers that are carefully crafted and served across Bath, Bristol and the south west areas. The 3.9% ABV 150th anniversary limited edition beer has been specially brewed to commemorate the occasion, and the easy-drinking pale ale will be available from Colston Hall’s bars from 1 July. Gift packs, including a Colston Hall 150 glass, are also available.
Bath Ales, which is part of the St Austell Brewery family, runs both the popular Colston St. Bar and Kitchen in the downstairs lobby of the hall and the Beerd restaurant, opposite the box office. Beerd offers concert-goers an American inspired craft beer bar serving an ever-changing list of exciting brews and freshly made Neapolitan-style pizzas, whilst the Bar and Kitchen offers a relaxed atmosphere for breakfast meetings, business lunches and pre-show dinners.
Karin Ashwell, Head of Marketing for Bath Ales, said: “What better way to celebrate Colston Hall’s 150th anniversary than with a special ale. We hope the limited-edition beer will be a fitting tribute to help toast the important role the hall has played in local history. With two of our food and drink offers being based in Colston Hall, we feel very close to the celebrations, and it was only right that Bath Ales brewed the special beer.”
40p from the sale of every bottle of Colston Hall Celebration Ale will be donated to our transformation campaign. Find out more about our plans to #transformthehall here.
