Join Bristol Male Voice Choir and the Gurt Lush Choir for a Gurt Winter Concert at the Colston Hall.
Gurt Lush Choir is Bristol’s biggest and most challenging community choir. With over 200 members, the choir has wowed audiences across Bristol with its exciting and eclectic mix of gospel, English and Eastern European folk, pop and classical songs since its beginnings two years ago. Performed in up to eight part harmony, the choir’s repertoire promises to lift the roof off the Colston Hall and blow away those winter blues!
Bristol Male Voice Choir, founded in 1968, is one of the largest male voice choirs in the West Country with members drawn from across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire. Raising thousands of pounds for good causes over the last four decades, the Choir has established a reputation for musical excellence. It has performed regularly at the International Male Voice Choral Festival held in Cornwall alongside choirs from around the world. Its wide repertoire includes operatic choruses, sacred music, spirituals and songs from stage and screen.
All proceeds from the concert will go to St Peter's Hospice.
