Kevin Figes
Jazz musician Kevin Figes will give a free, live performance in the foyer space.
Kyle Eastwood Band
If you’re going to lead a band from behind the bass you’d best pick a team you can trust, and Kyle Eastwood’s European team (he has a Stateside one, too) is pretty top notch. Thus he can hand over his tunes and concentrate on grooving in that effortlessly funky, showy-offy, Marcus Millery way while the whole thing kicks off rather nicely with him at the centre of the action.
The Colour of Landscape
As part of the Bristol Festival of Photography, Sheona Beaumont and Walter Dirks present photographic work exploring the rich, colourful and diverse landscapes of our planet. Their images range from global habitats to details of flora and fauna, combining awe-inspiring visions of nature-at-large and nature-up-close.
Horton School Ukulele Choir
The Horton School Ukulele Choir will give a free performance in the foyer following the Ukulele Funhouse Orchestra.
Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain
What started as a ‘bit of fun’ 25 years ago remains, at heart, just that - albeit highly polished and seriously entertaining fun of the highest order. Blending serious musical discipline with a fine sense of the absurd they’ve found the elusive common ground between Beethoven, Nirvana and Isaac Hayes: they all sound great on a ukulele.
