The Real McCoy Live
The Real McCoy (BBC, 1991-96) was the first real showcase for young black and asian comedy on prime time British television. Playing with notions of race in Britain at a time when the only truly visible black British comedian was Lenny Henry, the show cleared a path for a new generation of black and asian comedians to break into the mainstream. For one night only the cast are reunited and will be bringing the legendary sketches and characters back to life for a live version of The Real McCoy.
The cast consists of Robbie Gee (Eastenders, Desmonds, Snatch, Pirates Of The Caribbean), Judith Jacobs (Real McCoy, Eastenders and Holby City), Eddie Nestor (Real McCoy, Casualty, Desmonds and Trainspotting), Felix Dexter (Real McCoy, Lenny Henry Show, The Bill and Absolutely Fabulous), Leo Muhammad (Real Mccoy) plus special guest comedians Richard Blackwood and Kevin J.
