Real Deal Comedy Jam

“Comedy that’s the Real Deal” is how The Independent newspaper summed up the Real Deal Comedy Jam in 2009 which sold out multiple shows that year in Birmingham and London and 2010 will be no different just funnier and sexier for its first tour this Valentine’s week.

Get ready to witness not only a comedy show, but also an entertainment extravaganza! For the Real Deal Comedy Jam has gathered together the edgiest and hottest urban comedians and entertainers around today for shows that will enable you to see why the Real Deal Comedy Jam is the UK’s no 1 urban stand-up comedy show.

Award winning US comedian Drew Fraser will have you bursting your gut with laughter with his outrageous and witty personality leaving audience crying for more.Best known for his work on "Def Comedy Jam", Bad Boy’s of Comedy and "BET Comic View," Drew began his career in Boston, Massachusetts at the world famous "Nick's Comedy Stop" before moving to New York City where he established his career. To date Drew can be found hosting at the world's famous Apollo Theatre in New York City and previously opened shows as a warm-up host for one of America’s top talk shows, "The Queen Latifah Show". Now a world-renowned comedian who has made numerous performances in countries for over a decade such as in the UK, Holland, Bermuda, and Australia, to name a few, Drew has the ability to perform for any type
of audience regardless of race or age making him one of the most sought after US comedians to date.

Feisty comedienne Annette Fagon has quickly established herself on the live comedy scene, making her one of the few UK female comics in high demand on the comedy circuit today. Leicester born Annette has been leaving audiences in stitches with her motor-mouth stage persona for over 3 years now, delivering cracking jokes about her love of cheap clothes by Primark to the latest street slang. Annette always hits the comic bull’s eye with regularity and does it with ease by holding her own at major UK theatres like the Nottingham Playhouse and London’s Broadway Theatre. You will be able to see Annette’s idiosyncratic humour on BBC3’s brand new sketch show in 2010, where the UK can see the makings of a future great British female comedienne.

Like many comedians Kurt Metzger has established himself in the comedy clubs, mainly in NYC, but unlike most comedians he managed to catapult himself on to US TV shows with his intelligent and sardonic jokes on Comedy Central's “Live at Gotham”, Showtime's “White Boys in the Hood” and appeared regularly on VH1's “Best Week Ever” where he gained national recognition in US. A stand-out year in Kurt’s career thus far was in 2009 which started with his successful half-hour opening on Comedy Central’s “Comedy Central Presents…” and his additional regular appearances on “Ugly Americans”, which drew accolades from comedy heavyweights such as Dave Chappelle to write for his show and several other shows like Spike TV, VH1 and Comedy Central Programs.

Wayne Rollins has had a long lasting career in comedy that spans 15 years. He is most notably known for his feisty alter egos “Dibbi”, “Bruv da Geezer” and “Tyrone – the voice of youth” and is a regular fixture as a DJ/presenter on Global radio’s Choice FM since 1997.He is a house hold name at Hackney Empire where he sold-out his two solo shows “Will the Real Wayne Rollins stand up” and “An Audience with Dibbi”. He has had numerous stand-up comedy TV appearances on the BBC and is also part of a select group of award winning comedians to include household names such as Jo Brand, Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse. To date he wowed audiences with his performance on the smash hit comedy entitled ‘Dis Shoodbe On Tv’, which looks set to hit terrestrial TV in 2010!

Kat is that quirky all-round entertainer that can capture any audience attention whether it be students or corporate city execs. Best known for his antics on "MTV Base", "The Lick Parties" (with Trevor Nelson) and the "Request Shows", Kat will have the audience captivated by his hilarious stage antics.

Entertainment will be provided by award winning dance troupe Smash Bros and aspiring new artist Que, who has been described by multi-platinum recording artist Akon as “…the characteristics to become an international star”, sold out his UK tour in 2009 and is due to sign a deal with Universal’s All Around the World Records in 2010.
