Free world-class opera right at the heart of the city when a Royal Opera House performance of Simon Boccanegra, will be beamed - live - on the big screen in Millennium Square.
The opera will be going ahead despite the showers (which are due to clear up later this afternoon anyway, but bring a brolly to be on the safe side!). However, if the weather conditions become extreme, the event will have to be cancelled.
