The Big Anniversary Sing with BBC Radio Bristol

Colston Hall 150

A unique occasion is bringing together singers from all over Bristol and beyond to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Colston Hall with BBC Radio Bristol. In a celebration of the artists who have performed at the Hall over the years, all singers are invited to bring their spirit alive by being part of a massed choir of hundreds of voices.

The Big Anniversary Sing will be directed by Bristol choirmaster David Ogden and accompanied by a live band. Come and sing all your favourite songs from iconic musicians who have performed on the Hall’s illustrious stage, such as Duke Ellington, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Shirley Bassey, the Beach Boys, Status Quo and many, many more.

The concert will be recorded for broadcast by the BBC and the evening will be interspersed with fascinating archive BBC footage from the Hall.

Come on your own or as part of a group for a run through at 2pm and then perform with a live band at 7pm by purchasing a £10 performers ticket, or join us in the audience by purchasing a £5 ticket.
