Sheelanagig have become something of a West Country institution. This well-loved quintet put the groove and stomp into traditional and original European folk music, guaranteed to “liven any party and keep the floor full” (fRoots). Despite their high-octane swagger, the musicianship is never anything but “tight and intense” (Songlines). Expect whirlwind performances, roof-raising music and “a completely top night out” (Mike Harding, BBC Radio 2).
Support from Young Waters, winners of the 2016 New Shoots competition, who weave traditional folk tunes and original songs with thrilling harmonies and intricate fingerpicked guitar.
