The Magnetic Fields: 50 Song Memoir

The Magnetic Fields present a live showcase of their brand new album 50 Song Memoir. Written by illustrious songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Stephin Merritt, each of the album’s fifty songs commemorate a year of his life, particularly documenting his relationships with art, music and love over five decades. With seven musicians each playing seven instruments, the band will perform 25 songs of memoir each night in their typically spectacular style. The whole album will take place over two nights: songs 1 through 25 on 31 Aug and songs 26 through 50 on 1 Sep.
