Following on from last years success Colston Hall and Bristol City Council’s Arts and Events team are pleased to announce date for this year’s Square Sessions, taking place in the beautiful setting of Queen Square.
On Friday 13 August head down to Queen Square after work for a night of home-grown talent on a lazy summer evening. From jazz-funk to laid back soul to up and coming singer-songwriters you won't want to miss the best of the South West.
With award-winning real ales from local heroes Bath Ales and fine, filling food from your favourite food stalls, we'll have all the ingredients you'll need for a special summer evening.

The remarkable Blythe weaves an intricate musical web and original lyrics into something spellbindingly special.
6pm - Pete Josef
Singer-songwriter Pete Josef's soulful and jazz-hued vocals and instrumental skills have graced many stages with Roni Size and Reprazent but it's all about his own material tonight.
7pm - Baraka
Ben Baddoo brings a wealth of musical experience from Africa to the Caribbean and whips it into an upbeat celebration of musical sunshine for a summers evening
8pm - Roots Prescription
The mighty Dub From Atlantis meets the estimable Edenheight in pursuit of classic instrumental reggae. Absolutely top grooves, Friday style.
