Music making opportunities for 4-19 year olds this summer at Colston Hall
Young people can delve into the world of music this summer at Colston Hall with its popular courses for 4-11 year olds and 12-19 year olds taking place in August.
Starting from Tuesday 3 August and running every week during the summer holidays, 4-11 year olds can take part in pirate, jungle and space themed workshops aimed at developing their musical skills from exploring music through technology, puppetry, drama, singing and songwriting.
Each young person will get the opportunity to perform their finished work in the Colston Hall foyer and they will also be able to take home a CD of his or her creations. The course costs £15 per half-day and £25 per full day.
For older children, 12-19 year olds can take part in weekly workshops from Tuesday 3 August. They will work with professional film score, soundtrack and foley artists to create sound components for a short film. Sessions run from 12pm - 4pm each day and cost £50 per week.
