Unicorns Studios and rehearsal spaces
Unicorns Studios, rehearsal spaces and education suite is funded by the
Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), Youth Opportunity Fund
(YOF) and The Neil Kymatic Foundation. It is a professional and fully
functional music suite that is available for hire to under 25's in any
combination to suit individual requirements.
Small rehearsal room has space for a maximum of four people:
- Mackie PA
- Bass amp
- 2 x Guitar amps
- 2 x mics and stands
- Roland Sh201 synthesizer
- Pearl drum kit with Zildjian cymbals
Medium rehearsal room has space for a maximum of six people:
- Mackie PA
- Bass amp
- 2 x Guitar amps
- 2 x mics and stands
- Roland Sh201 synthesizer
- Mapex drum kit with Zildjian cymbals
Large room rehearsal room has space for a maximum of 10 people:
- Mackie PA
- Bass amp
- 2 x guitar amps
- Roland stage piano
- 2 x mics and stands
- Mapex drum kit with Zildjian cymbals
The Unicorns Studios also contains an i-mac suite/workshop space with
eight i-macs, interfaces and internet access. We also have a wide range
of instruments, DJ room and decks available for hire.
The studio, rehearsal rooms and main space have kitchen access and
toilets for your convenience, and can be booked out independently or in
any combination to suit your requirements.

Large room - £18 for two hours
Medium room - £15 for two hours
Small room - £12 for two hours
Any number of two hour slots can be booked
Special rates for young people not in education or employment: only
£1.50 per hour, per person! Evidence required (JobSeekers sign-on
book etc)

Saturday: 2pm-10pm

The Education Suite
The education suite consists of:
one rehearsal/sound editing room
two multi-functioning meeting rooms (with the option of booking private
tutors)
a new i-mac suite
The i-mac suite has 20 i-macs, running pro tools and logic pro,
internet access and teaching resources. All our education spaces are
acoustically designed and treated.
Prices
Room 1 - £50 per hour
Room 2 - £15 per hour
Room 3 - £15 per hour
Room 4 - £15 per hour
These prices are for people external from Bristol City Council and our
charities.
