This accredited course deconstructs the creative process and gives you the opportunity to gain insight into the working methods of music industry professionals. The course is facilitated by active professional local musicians and contains master classes delivered by infamous industry professionals who cut their teeth on the Bristol circuit.

During this level 2 accredited course you will learn how to analyse music in terms of production values and produce music using genre-based conventions. You will produce your own music using industry standard software and will build skills in sound design, programming, processing, mixing and arrangement.

At Colston Hall we are always thinking about ways to develop some interesting and innovative participatory activities for nearly grown ups and we would welcome any comments from people interested in taking part before we launch anything.
We are looking for musicians, singers, producers and sound artists from all areas of the musical landscape to develop a peer network to support each other’s musical development.
The emphasis will be on ensemble working (small, medium, and large) which we plan to deliver through a series of workshops and events. We want you to push your own musical boundaries as well as forming new musical relationships.

Fused Ensemble
A 12-week course for musicians wishing to be at the heart for the formation of a new challenging and boundary-pushing ensemble. Led by Dr Andy Keep.
