Remix - Bristol's Youth Music Action Zone

Youth Music is a UK-wide charity set up in 1999 to provide high quality and diverse music-making opportunities for 0-18 year olds. It targets young people living in areas of social and economic need who might otherwise lack opportunity and predominantly supports activities which are held outside school hours.

REMIX, Bristol's Youth Music Action Zone, was set up in 2002 to provide a wide range of music-making opportunities for under 18's. It is one of 24 Music Action Zones in the UK, funded by the Foundation for Youth Music.

REMIX aims to provide music making opportunities to young people, in particular those who have had limited access to such resources in the past. REMIX has worked with partner organisations and musicians to provide a wide range of workshops and performances across Bristol.

The workshops for under 18’s range from songwriting to DJing and music production. To find out the workshops timetable go to Colston Hall's What's on page.
