The critically acclaimed Juice Vocal Trio perform a rarely heard a capella work by the legendary Morton Feldman alongside new pieces which use electronics to transform their voices to create incredible new sounds. The concert will feature video projection and works by Bristol-based composers that use samples of birdsong in contrasting ways. In Richard Barnard’s piece, blackbird recordings are gradually reproduced by the human voice, in Elizabeth Purnell’s piece birdsong samples are activated by Soundbeam technology and combined with instrumental music.
